It’s not too late to get started with great spring garden planning. Today’s video show what and how I am getting ready with hundreds of plants and lots of honey bees. There are a lot of resources at http://todolisthome.com to get you started too. This is a bit of work of course but the longer term plan is to make gardening easy by placing a lot of perennial fruits and vegetables throughout the property. Once warmer weather hits us in northern Virginia the back and front yards will be growing green and the plants I start from seed will be ready growing outside. If all goes well there will be at least three honey bee colonies pollinating the plants. There are many reasons why honey bees are important not the least of which is the need for them to work the asparagus, blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, elderberries, kiwi, peach, raspberries, strawberries, wintergreen, and the huge variety of annual vegetables and flowers that will be growing. I show how I plan for spring gardens with seed starts in the basement and when they germinate they go to the green room. The gardens outside are featured and I give a good explanation of how it all fits together to create a true Home Sweet Home. I have about 4 more weeks of planning to get underway and I will be documenting all of it here. tony Teolis
